I have no doubt whatsoever that God intervened in my discovering her class. She is an amazing teacher. I am going to get my CRC and CPMA certifications next. All of the staff and instructors at Medical Coding Academy have a heart for the students! They don’t take your investment lightly! They invest in you and give you all the strategies to succeed! My best advice if you are on the fence... RUN don’t walk and sign up! When you sign up do ALL of the Pre-work and classwork, it is essential to your success! If possible I recommend staying on site even if you are local (you’ll be glad you did). It really is AMAZING!

She was very responsive and willingly sent me the tools that I needed. I then sat for my test and passed on my next try with FLYING COLORS!!!!! She is excellent and you will NOT regret taking this course.

  • I just completed Ms. Ortega's 3-day CPC Exam prep last night and it was extraordinary. She is an exceptional teacher with a heart as big as Texas! I don't... read more know how she managed to fit so much course material into those 3 days, but she made it happen. She is prepared beyond belief with slides and lectures that explain medical coding in a way that even someone brand new to coding can understand. She expects her students to be as prepared to learn as she is to teach, so DO THE PRE-WORK! Once you register for the class, you will receive a packet of instructions from Medical Coding Academy. This is called the pre-work. It does take many hours to complete, so don't wait until the last minute to start. It may seem like a hassle while you are working on it, but it is definitely worth it! I believe it is the second reason I got so much out of he class. The first reason is Ms. Ortega herself. She seems to have 2 passions in life, one for coding and one for teaching. This combination makes her a clear choice when deciding who to entrust with your career education. I first met Ms. Ortega by pure luck. She just happened to be the instructor for an ICD-10 class I attended a few years ago. I knew then that whenever I decided to sit for the CPC exam, she was the only one I would trust to help me prepare. I am so thrilled that she has taken her class on the road and that I was finally able to attend! I am registered to take the CPC exam in less than 3 weeks. I'll be doing the homework she gave me and feel confident that I can pass. Thank you, Ms. Ortega. You've been a blessing to me!

I would recommend this fast classes to everyone, as long you are dedicated and motivated you can finish this class and have a degree by the end of the week!!!

Ortega POP out, I wish I knew about Medical coding academy a Long long time... read more ago, I still had my doubt when first signing up thinking � hmm mayb it's fraud but what they tell you on YouTube and the Site is the same exact thing you will get taking this (or other) course and miss ORTEGA is that passionate in person, Thank you for Teaching US and making a lot of thing much more sense, it was nice meeting you yes you mrs.
