Mrs Ortega has such a humble & sweet spirit and really gives her all in these 3 days. The course was tough, you’re definitely pushed and challenged, but it’s well worth it in the end. I wasn’t sure what to expect but Mrs. Ortega will have you leaving on that 3rd day feeling well prepared. I can tell that all she does is truly out of LOVE! If you are interested in Medical Coding- whether you are looking for a review before you take your exam, or you don't know the first thing about coding - These courses will surpass your needs. Don't get me wrong. It was a lot of hard work, and I wanted to quit a few times, but Mrs. Ortega's energy and passion was so contagious. I was surrounded by go-getters.   • Just take the class. Nothing else needs to be said! I learned more in three days with Mrs Ortega than I did from all the time I wasted on the... read more AAPC course. Half the people around me had tried the AAPC course route and found it too convoluted too. Now be prepared to WORK, but its worth it! If you sit down, keep your mouth shut and just absorb everything she says you will walk away from this class knowing you can do this. I would highly recommend her class to a person willing to show up and work, NOT COMPLAIN. I am already looking at which one day class I want to come take first for when I pass this test. I will say it again, JUST TAKE THE CLASS!

I completed the Medical Coding Academy online course in 6 weeks and passed the CPC Board... read more Exam 5 days later! I have been out of the workforce for 13 years raising my children and I was very nervous about taking on a brand new career without any prior knowledge or experience, but Mrs. Ortega's stellar reputation and all of the 5 star reviews gave me the confidence to go for it. And I am so glad I did! The online course is amazing! It is organized and easy to follow with clear instructions every step of the way. I loved doing the online course because I could go through each section as many times as I needed to get a strong understanding of the material. The MCA team was a huge resource as they were there to answer any questions along the way. And even though Mrs. Ortega was not physically there with me, I could feel her genuine desire for me to succeed. I am happy to share that I passed, oh and I took the test while being 34 weeks pregnant. If it wasn't for God and him putting Mrs. Ortega in my life I would have failed again.   • When signing up for this class it seemed too good to be true. I honestly could not believe that Ms. Ortega (or anyone) could possibly teach me how to pass... read more the CPC exam in 3 days. Well i'm here to say that its TRUE! she CAN teach you how to do it. And she is excellent at it. She really knows what she is doing and has mastered the skill in teaching everything you will need to know to pass the CPC (and then some). i am extremely greatful i found Ms. Ortega. I passed the CPC exam just 1 month after taking her class. I look forward to taking more classes for more credentials from her. Her style of teaching is like no other.
