I got the online program on Monday after finding out MCA finally went online! I am waiting on my exam prep kit in the mail but I was given... read more immediate access to the online training videos! I had a ton of things to do on Monday but I went ahead and watched the first video just to get myself motivated before running out of the house to do all my errands. The next thing I know today is day 3 and I still haven't left the house to run my errands because I've been binge watching ever since! Mrs Ortega steals your heart from the very beginning! She's serious and tough one minute then gets playful and fun the next. She'll get after you and call you out on something but then she totally gets away with it because you know she has your best interest at heart. I felt a duty to report on this program because I have a double master's degree and I have never witnessed a teacher like her. My years of college were 100 percent in the classroom and none of my professors had her energy and fire. But the shocking thing is that all this passion just keeps slapping you in the face and you're not even in the classroom with her! How does she make all of this come across in a video???!!! Its an online program yet she still commands your attention but and keeps it too. Its wild! Thank you teacher and thank you MCA. I only wish you would have gone online 3 years ago because I have ordered 3 different online programs including the one from aapc and MCA puts every last one of them to shame. I just finished the integumentary system and I went from hating that subject to loving it! I'll try my best to keep you all posted! September 17th I just want to scream to the world right now that I passed my board exam on the first try after completing MCA's on line program!!!! Evem though I took a class before mca I found out i really didn't have an idea about coding ...the other program was too focused on teaching things that didnt matter but after giving myself a do or die deadline with mca online, I finished the entire course in 2.5 months! I took the program extremely seriously and learned everything Mrs Ortega had to teach me because quite honestly she is a hell of a teacher the...the lady has a gift .......I never once had to submit a question to them...It was unreal....i am just did grateful to mca and can't wait to land my first job...look out world here I come :)

No time wasted on anything that is... read more irrelevant to what you will need to know because Ms. Ortega will teach you the important information. Her unique tabbing system will help you get to know your book and how to easily code what you should code. But that's not to say coding will be a piece of cake after taking her class, because it is very challenging. What she will teach you is just half the battle, the remaining will be entirely up to you. The input/effort you put in will help determine your success in this field of work. The best part about taking Ms. Ortega's class was her passion that she had while teaching all of us. She didn't just teach just to teach things to get things over with, she wanted us to be able to comprehend and utilize what/why we were learning the information. Not only that, she's an instructor who cares about her students and their success in this field! And I can't stress that enough!!! She'll go out of her way, if she has to...even move mountains! :) She's a great instructor with many many years of experience and if there's anyone you want to learn from, it's her!
