5 Medical Coding LinkedIn Profiles You Should Be Following
In the past, we’ve covered social media profiles, blogs and profiles you should be following. We’ve gone over everything from Instagram and Facebook to YouTube and Twitter. If you haven’t found a medical coding-related social media to profile by now, maybe you never will! Or, perhaps you’re only on LinkedIn.
If that’s the case, here are five medical coding LinkedIn profiles you should be following:
1. Medical Coder Jobs
More of a listing page than a profile, our first suggestion is to start following the medical coding jobs feed. Whether you’re looking for your first position as a medical coder or you simply want to keep your options open, this is a great LinkedIn page to follow professionally. (Interested in remote positions? There’s a page for that too!)
2. Sachin H. Jain, MD
Voted a “Top Voice for 2018” on LinkedIn for medical content, Dr. Jain is a great resource for medical coders and billers. He stays updated on the latest industry developments and passes on news, insights and advice to all who follow him.
3. Medical Coding Jobs
Not a traditional profile, per se, but this page will be helpful for those seeking employment. LinkedIn is full of great medical coding jobs and this page gathers up a lot of the best of them. Posts also cover interview tips and there are contests from time to time.

4. AAPC
Mostly news- and fact-based in nature, the posts from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) are sure to be useful. Stay tuned to this profile for the latest developments in the world of medical coding, as well as statistics that may help you in your career.
5. Medical Coding Academy
Just as we do on our other social media channels, Medical Coding Academy posts regular insights, news and advice related to medical coding on our LinkedIn channel. While you might not see some of our more casual/lighthearted content that we like to post on Twitter or Facebook, you’ll still get engaging, useful information that will help you as a professional medical coder or biller.
Whether you’re on LinkedIn or not, you can benefit from a medical coding class at Medical Coding Academy. Click here to learn more about our courses and sign up.
