First of all, I know I passed! How? Because of her anointed teaching! It was a ton of hard work & long days, but it was also really fun and absolutely worth it! Ms Ortega literally runs on adrenaline.. while we're taking bathroom breaks, she is there helping. She doesn't use the bathroom or eat AT ALL so she is 100% committed to her students! That is pure dedication & it takes a very blessed person to do that! She not only teaches how to use your books to pass the exam, but also how to apply her method as a real "go-to" coder. She's truly amazing! I went in nervous and left confident! If you're on the fence, jump it & get to Ms Ortega class asap! You will NOT regret it! And you will have made a friend in the process �. P.S. Do the prework & homework. You won't do well without it being done �. There's a system to the madness, I promise! Take a leap of faith & just DO IT! You won't regret it & wish you had done it sooner! I'll definitely be taking more of her courses to earn my "alphabet soup"!

  • I PASSED!!!!!!!!! Recently I completed Mrs. Ortega’s 3-day CPC course followed by the exam on the fourth day in March 2018. Mrs. Ortega’s class is amazing and a godsend. I... read more have no medical background at all and passed the CPC certification exam with an 86% and am now a certified coder with career options. To give you some background, I have taken the certification exam twice, the first time I did not completely follow Mrs. Ortega’s direction and ended up running out of time. Whenever I would get to the correct answer in less than 30 seconds, and you will, I would second guess myself and go the long way around to verify if the answer was correct. I did myself a disservice by doing this and ran out of time with 30 questions left that I had to randomly guess at. This time around, I followed Mrs. Ortega’s instruction to the letter; I got to the right answer in less than 30 seconds on most of the questions, did not second guess myself and trusted Mrs. Ortega and finished the exam with about 40 minutes to spare. I recommend Mrs. Ortega’s 3-day CPC coding course to anyone interested in becoming certified and asking you to believe what she is telling you, it is all true. The 3-day class is a lot of work, but has a huge payoff. Mrs. Ortega would say, “A short term pain for a long term gain.” This is very true and can change your life.

There's a lot of prep work that must be done BEFORE coming to the classes, I warn you don't wait until the last minute to do the pre-work that comes into the mail. Also be prepared for a lot of classwork and homework as well. However, Mrs. Ortega is amazing, passionate teacher and the knowledge you gain in this 3 day course will take months in a community college and at higher prices with no confidence that you are prepared for the exam. Taking Mrs. Ortega course, I feel prepared! Thank you so much Ms Ortega, you and your team are awesome.

  • I had the pleasure of taking Mrs. Ortega's training class this past weekend. WARNING: If you are not serious...please don't waste her or your time. She is VERY passionate and... read more VERY serious about her teaching & her students. Please do all of your pre-work, homework, and classwork or you will not benefit. It is very INTENSE but by day 3 you will be as confident as she is about passing your board exam. I plan on taking two more training classes with her in Dallas, that is how confident I am in her training. Thank you again Mrs Ortega.

Mrs. Ortega, Ms. Belen, and all of the staff are very helpful,... read more very responsive, and it is evident that they genuinely care about the success of each individual student who takes their medical coding courses. I am a teacher and have been in education for quite some time, and for me personally, this is the most well-designed courses I have ever taken. The strategies and techniques that Mrs. Ortega teaches are ones that I wish many educators would be able to see and adapt to fit their content areas of teaching, because the strategies in this course really do work. It amazes me that I have learned so much in this course, so quickly and I really feel that I have gained long-term knowledge that I will be able to use in my career and future endeavors.
