CPC® Online Pay As You Go – Module A, B, C & Exam Prep

I have worn many hats since I was 14. I have been an Ophthalmic Tech since 2014 since and have been looking for a career change. Where I've been for the last 8 yrs, I've taken on the role of filing insurance as well. Finally I made a decision to pursue something more along those lines. A coworker had mentioned this program that his friend took and it was what I was looking for! Ms. Ortega knows what she is talking about. She is an excellent teacher and I wish I had a chance to meet her and thank her personally. Her tabbing system is a God send! Some of the videos are dated but they are working on making things more current. ☆ I scored an 82% on my CPC exam ☆ Thank you Ms. Ortega, Ms. Beverly & MCA ♡

I took the online CPC course and PASSED my test! I work full time so it did take me 4 months. The class was amazing and easy to follow. She gives you all the instruction you need to successfully pass the test. Honestly, she gives you more. I learned more from her then from college classes I took about coding. Mrs. Ortega is amazing woman and a great teacher.

Hi everyone! I passed the COC exam! I am so grateful that I discovered Mrs. Ortega and MCA. This is my second certification under Mrs. Ortega's instruction this year. I took the MCA online courses for both the CPC and COC preparation. Honestly, she has been an unexpected blessing in my life this year. I have no doubt whatsoever that God intervened in my discovering her class. She is an amazing teacher. I am going to get my CRC and CPMA certifications next. I would strongly encourage anyone undecided about taking a class, to make a decision and step out on faith. Nothing is impossible with God. I wish you all a Merry Christmas.

Medical coding academy is awesome!! They truly set you up for success! I’m so proud to say I’m CPC certified and it’s all thanks to Mrs. Ortega and her team. They also are very responsive whenever you have questions. They way they teach you is vital in passing your exam on the first try. And even after you finish your course and pass your exam they answer your questions and give you great advice in finding a job!

I did the online courses through Medical Coding Academy and couldn’t be more pleased. This was a late in life (turning 60 this year) decision to take the course. I passed my CPC exam on the first attempt. I had previously started a different course and quickly lost interest and couldn’t get motivated to continue. Then I came across all the excellent reviews for MCA. I was skeptical at first but once I received all my books and materials, I realized this is the real deal. I actually wanted to turn on the videos and work in the case workbook daily. The staff is very responsive to any questions. Mrs. Ortega is such an excellent teacher. While taking my exam, I could hear her voice in my head, reminding me of all the guidelines and rules. If you’re on the fence about taking the course, just do it. You won’t be sorry.

I have been a Registered Nurse since 2007 and have been looking for a career shift. This program was a God send! Ms. Ortega knows what she is talking about. She is an excellent teacher and truly has invested herself in the success of others. From the tabbing system all the way to the coding cases workbook, it is all so efficient in explaining and teaching the material. Medical Coding Academy has made my dream a reality!

I am a full time working mom raising a three year old and I can not imagine taking this course anywhere else. The staff immediately emailed back answering any and all questions and the way Ms. Ortega teaches is real and so knowledgeable. The things she has taught me will be applied for the rest of my life. she is a gift to the teaching of coding. I was amazed by her skill set. She breaks it down for you in ways you never thought was possible. I left other coding Facebook groups so I wouldn't get confused. I have looked into coding for a couple years now. I searched "coding bootcamp" and Ms. Ortega came up. I was skeptical at first, thinking there is no way. But a part of me was saying do it. Maybe it was my higher power telling me to finally jump and commit. I truly believed she would show me the way. She did! If you have question whether you should take this class or not, please I hope my review will make you jump! I went to the bootcamp in ATL. I won't lie I didn't sleep for 3 days. We were in class for 11 hours and had hours of homework, but it was beyond worth it. She keeps you awake and focused the entire time. Thank you, Ms. Ortega.
