If there is anyone out there that is doubtful or unsure about this class, then you are missing out because there is no where else that you will get the training and love like you do from Mrs. Ortega. She is there to make sure you get the best education and she puts a lot of work and time into making sure you pass. She is definitely wonderful at her job and knows what she is doing, and there is no other teacher that will teach you the material like she does. She is seriously an angel sent from God and has been called to do this and she is definitely a living God on earth. Mrs. Ortega will change your life not just for your career but to have a better perspective on life and to want to be a better person in life. She has impacted my life so much those past 3 days of class that I was with her and I will never forget, what a special Godly person she is. If you're still unsure contact them and get more information their whole staff is so nice. The most important advice I can give you is take the leap of Faith because I can promise you, you will not regret it. You get only enough sleep to function on.... read more It’s worth every missed second of sleep, every dollar spent, and every thing of ribbon white out I throw across the room. Here is my story... Mrs Ortega is pretty amazing! I took her 3 day class on October 5-7 and took my test on October 13. In between that time hurricane Michael hit my home and I was out of power for 7 days and in the middle of those 7 days was my test. To say I was worried would be an understatement. Yes you come home with homework to keep you on track and keep it fresh on your mind but in this situation it was a struggle. I had no power, a roof covered in tarps, 2 stir crazy boys, trying to help the community and ones that were in worse shape then me, as well as studying and remembering everything Mrs Ortega taught me! If I would not have taken her class I know 100% I would not have even came close to passing. I messaged her with my struggles and told her I was worried. She believed in me more than I believed in myself. At that moment I know she gave me everything I needed and I couldn’t let her down. I didn’t reschedule my test because of the things happening out of my control. I put everything I had into God and Mrs Ortega and I sat down and took that test like I knew every answer! I passed with a 86!!!! She is truly God sent in this field and I will never ever ever dream of trying to further my career without seeking her advice and classes out first. This proved that age and experience don't matter what is important is how good, (the BEST).. the teacher is. She gave me the confidence to do it. First, let me say that I was very skeptical about doing it. I found the Academy on You Tube and most people would find it very unlikely that it could work. But my gut told me to go for it! I flew to Dallas from MN and took the 3 day CPC course. I'll admit I was very nervous on day one. What if I made the wrong decision? I am very happy to report that Mrs. Ortega is exactly as she appears online and her class is exactly as she describes it. Now, if you are looking for the easy way…this isn’t it. If you are looking for the smart way, then you’ve found it! The reason this works is because the curriculum is put together intelligently and effectively. It’s not magic, it’s strategy and very hard work. I was able to go from absolutely no knowledge of this industry to taking the CPC board exam and finishing 45 minutes early in only 3 days! It's not a vacation. Be prepared to be thinking hard and absorbing information all day every day. Then enjoy getting to use that education immediately at the exam! I feel such a sense of accomplishment and I can’t thank the staff at MCA enough. These people work so hard for us, it’s crazy! I’ve gone to community college before, and I never got from it what was provided in these 3 days. Mrs. Ortega teaches this course because it is her passion and she cares about helping people in the way she knows how, and you don’t find that very often. It is A LOT of work over the three days but worth it. I feel incredibly prepared for my board exam and for "real world" coding. I had the pleasure of taking Mrs. Ortega's training class this past weekend. WARNING: If you are not serious...please don't waste her or your time. She is VERY passionate and... read more VERY serious about her teaching & her students. Please do all of your pre-work, homework, and classwork or you will not benefit. It is very INTENSE but by day 3 you will be as confident as she is about passing your board exam. I would highly recommend it for beginners or as a refresher course for anyone in billing/coding to be up to date with all the changes in guidelines.
