On day one Mrs Ortega made me a believer!! I am very confident that when I go to take my test on Saturday I will be more than ready and I WILL pass it on my first try after this 3 day weekend with Mrs Ortega!!! I would recommend this course to ANYONE whether experienced or not you won't regret taking this course!! The one thing I strongly recommend is COMPLETE ALL PREWORK!!! The prework is very very very important and I can't express enough how much it's going to help get through her course and help with testing!!! You are given everything you need to be prepared to take AND pass the CPC exam the very first time. She is inspiring, exciting and REALLY knows her stuff. The only thing that I can say about MCA it is truly an awesome experience at first it was hard to think or do this without having any background on... read more coding but she proved me wrong by when I passed my state exam. Listen to Miss Ortega she knows what she doing and have faith in it . I truly loved this experience and will come back for other certifications. Thank you for helping and guiding me through this. Okay, so, I'm writing this immediately after receiving my pass my CPC certification exam. I finished in 3 hours out of the 5 hours 40 minutes that the exam provides... read more and passed with the equivalent of a B. Ms. Ortega knows her coding. Ms. Ortega knows the test. Ms. Ortega knows what works and what doesn't. This three-day course probably helped me prepare better for the exam than the official AAPC prep course. I've taken both; the prep course is good for the basics, but if you want to pass the exam and pass it quickly, then it would behoove you to attend Ms. Ortega's boot camp. It's well worth the price and the pain, I promise you. Listen to Ms. Ortega. Follow Ms. Ortega's instructions. Do as Ms. Ortega says and eat the exam for breakfast. It really is just that simple.

All of the staff and instructors at Medical Coding Academy have a heart for the students! They don’t take your investment lightly! They invest in you and give you all the strategies to succeed! My best advice if you are on the fence... RUN don’t walk and sign up! When you sign up do ALL of the Pre-work and classwork, it is essential to your success! If possible I recommend staying on site even if you are local (you’ll be glad you did). It really is AMAZING!
