It was love at first sight kinda thing because I'm no coder at all, BUT now I became One! I saw her passion in this industry, her love for her students, she really do CARES people. She is far the BEST Teacher I ever had. I usually don't do reviews, but my time with Medical Coding Academy was excellent. I remember walking in thinking "Oh God, why did I sign up for... read more a 3 day course?" I was very skeptical and negative, but Ms. Ortega was very welcoming and taught on a level every one could understand. I was promised that through this 3-day course I will pass my CPC test and that is exactly what I got. The course is not a joke, it takes a lot of determination with less sleep. Ms. Ortega is compassionate and such a beautiful human being, but she can also be a beast in this 3-day course. She will do what it takes for you to pass that test.
