I did great with my coding online studies through AAPC, but when it came time for testing, I missed it twice. I thank GOD for putting people in my life that has helped me achieve my goal, to be a CPC. Thank you to my husband and family for helping and encouraging me. Thank you to three ladies who are friends/coworkers that also encouraged me and lead me to MCA. I... read more took the 3 days class in Dallas on July 28-30. I took the exam right after finishing the class but I didn't pass. I think it was just nerves. So I let Mrs. Ortega know right away. She was very encouraging and did everything in her power to help me prepare for my second exam which I took three weeks later. I just found out today that I PASSED. I strongly believe if you don't pass the first time, then I will guarantee you will pass the second time but the goal is to pass the first time!!! Mrs. Ortega is one of a kind. she is tough but dedicated, caring, and supportive teacher. She mean everything she said. She puts 150% into her class. I highly recommended everyone to take her class. If you plan to take her class, then Please DO ALL THE PRE-WORKS that are given to you because if you don't then don't even bother to show up to class. You will be totally lost in class because there is no time to waste. The class do goes fast but it is all worth it in the end. She said "A short term pain is a long time gain!!!"
