After this three day class I feel very confident in my ability to do well on the exam. Mrs. Ortega has thought of everything! She gives us customized homework/practice to do until we take the exam, after the exam and the night before starting our first job to keep us fresh. Mrs. Ortega even gives guidance for the interview and I highly recommend purchasing her USB stick with resume templates letters of interest etc. This class was definitely worth every single penny it cost and I would recommend it to everyone wishing to become a medical coder. Don’t waste your time and money anywhere else.

It is very INTENSE but by day 3 you will be as confident as she is about passing your board exam. Okay, so, I'm writing this immediately after receiving my pass my CPC certification exam. I finished in 3 hours out of the 5 hours 40 minutes that the exam provides... read more and passed with the equivalent of a B. Ms. Ortega knows her coding. Ms. Ortega knows the test. Ms. Ortega knows what works and what doesn't. This three-day course probably helped me prepare better for the exam than the official AAPC prep course. I've taken both; the prep course is good for the basics, but if you want to pass the exam and pass it quickly, then it would behoove you to attend Ms. Ortega's boot camp. It's well worth the price and the pain, I promise you. Listen to Ms. Ortega. Follow Ms. Ortega's instructions. Do as Ms. Ortega says and eat the exam for breakfast. It really is just that simple.

I graduated the following year and I WAS NOT comfortable nor prepared to take the National Board exam. I searched the internet for information on educational resources to help me pass the Board exam. On You Tube I came across Mrs. Delissa Ortega. I watched every one of her You Tube videos and I was blown away!! I registered to take the 3 day course. I just completed the 3 day CPC course this past weekend in Chicago and I learned more in those 3 days than I did a full year at the community college.I am totally ready and prepared to take the CPC Board exam!! Well i'm here to say that its TRUE! she CAN teach you how to do it. And she is excellent at it. She really knows what she is doing and has mastered the skill in teaching everything you will need to know to pass the CPC (and then some). i am extremely greatful i found Ms. Ortega. I passed the CPC exam just 1 month after taking her class. I look forward to taking more classes for more credentials from her. Her style of teaching is like no other.
