  • I am a certified Medical Coding Coder because of Mrs.Ortega and her team, i passed the test on the first time around! I was very skeptic when i first looked... read more into the class especially because I was going to be travel to Texas for the 3 day boot camp. The 3 day course is no joke, it is a lot of information with long days and hours of homework ever night. However it was all worth it, I was able to retain a lot of valuable information. I think it was imperative for me that the test was taken the day after I completed the course. Everything was still fresh in my mind. Mrs.Ortega gives you all of the tools (her tabbing system makes a world of difference) to pass the test along with the self confidence. As long as you put in the work you will successful! I highly recommend this class to anyone that wants to put in hard work and become a Certified Medical Coder. And I look forward to attending more classes with the Medical Coding Academy.

She breaks coding down into simple form, and you will truly be able to understand coding... read more even if you think there is no hope! I learned more in her 3 day couse, than I did taking a 6 month couse at a vocational college. She is just that awesome and passionate about coding, and after you take her class you will be too and you will pass the exam on the first try! If you've taken the CPT exam before and failed, I plead with you to give her class a try and I promise you, you won't regret it. She is always a phone call away and she will so whatever she can to help! I traveled many miles to take her course, and it was the best decision that I have ever made!! Because of Mrs. Ortega course I look at coding differently because I understand it, and because of that I'm excited about my future and all the opportunities I will have from the knowledge I gained in her 3 day course!!

Yes the pain to get through this course and Ito be able to walk away with your CPC and a chance for a new career it’s worth it! Ms. Ortega is a meeting in lone stop shop she teach you Cpc from beginning to end she have you laughing and learning at the same time. She gives you clarity that you can’t do nothing but remember she challenges you to be the best you and praise you for allowing her to play this important part. Ms Ortega prepares you for the coding world with real experiences and her assistants share their journey also it pumps you up even after you are wore out from the work! But it is truly all Good! Well now is your... read more chance, I was so blessed to have met the Angel of what God sent as my instructor Mrs. Ortega. from MCA academy, I couldn't ask for such a humble soul who will go over and beyond to go to my hometown and teach me how to be a skill full coder and as well as knowing guidelines in the CPT manual. Just taking the time to explain and help you understand has brought me so much life in to coding that now after her 1 day COC course and 1 day course for the CPMA , I have learned so much and if it wasn't for her I would be lost and now guided properly and would of spent so much money if I would of went else where with that being said put your faith in Mrs.Ortega you will be in for treat that would be so worth it in a life time. I will be sitting in for these exams soon but will definitely post once I pass and I know it in my spirit I will. Will keep you in my prayers Mrs. Ortega please don't change and truly do follow your way when those doors open to teach and to those who will be there in that time of need .

  • Mrs Ortega is a walking encyclopedia of medical coding knowledge. I attended her 3 day course in Orlando and it was intense. For the record I had no prior... read more knowledge of this field. However after Mrs Ortega's class I feel I have a fighting chance of passing my CPC certification exam. Trust me the 3 day course is your best option. Mrs Ortega's teaching system is so on point it seems like she's pouring the information into your brain. you just need to pay attention and take notes. She really feels like your success is her success. Remember to complete your prework.
