  • I had no medical coding experience prior to taking Mrs. Ortega's 3 days CPC class but after the 3 days I was impress on how much I have learned. I... read more took the 3 days class in Dallas on July 28-30. I took the exam right after finishing the class but I didn't pass. I think it was just nerves. So I let Mrs. Ortega know right away. She was very encouraging and did everything in her power to help me prepare for my second exam which I took three weeks later. I just found out today that I PASSED. I strongly believe if you don't pass the first time, then I will guarantee you will pass the second time but the goal is to pass the first time!!! Mrs. Ortega is one of a kind. she is tough but dedicated, caring, and supportive teacher. She mean everything she said. She puts 150% into her class. I highly recommended everyone to take her class. If you plan to take her class, then Please DO ALL THE PRE-WORKS that are given to you because if you don't then don't even bother to show up to class. You will be totally lost in class because there is no time to waste. The class do goes fast but it is all worth it in the end. She said "A short term pain is a long time gain!!!" Anyhow, thank you Mrs. Ortega for your knowledge and talent that you have pass on to me. I will forever be grateful for what you have done. I plan to take some of her other class to up my credential later on down the road. MRS.ORTEGA ROCKS!!!

  • I just found out that I passed my exam for CPC. I wouldn't have made it without Mrs Ortega. She is by far the best teacher. Dont, I repeat DONT... read more waste your money elsewhere, especially in a technical school. I unfortunately went before I knew about MCA and now have a debt of $17K and learn nothing. The school never even gave me a HCPCS book until I had my exit exam. What a waste of time and money. But now Im glad I found out about MCA. I have learned so much with Mrs Ortega in 3 days than 10months in the technical school. So if you are thinking about, stop thinking and just to do it. I promise you, you wont regret it!

  • Where do I start? Just finished a 3 day boot camp in Dallas. WOW. So glad I took this step. Yes, I did have doubts, and people tried to discourage... read more me, but that didn't stop me from making a huge life changing decision. Totally worth the $$. I am signing up for more "alphabet soup" as Mrs. Ortega calls it. Mrs Ortega and her staff ROCKS!!! Incredibly helpful, they know their stuff. If you choose to take any class, and I pray you do, DO THE PREWORK BEFORE THE CLASS! If I could make that statement bold and underlined, I would. Many people didn't do the prework, and had a hard time staying with the class. I had a blast. Yes, the days are long, but it's a little pain for a long term game. I'm 46, and I was able to keep up lol. Have a BLESSED day.

  • I registered and took this Bootcamp in Orlando. I can only say that after this intense course. Mrs. Ortega is no joke. I went to college for Medical Coding our... read more professor had a PHD and writes books on coding. My entire classmates including myself graduated with zero confidence to take the state test. Several of us have outsource refresher courses to find the confidence. Not one has passed the state test. I just finished taking this course and am scheduled to take my exam this month. I can honestly say I am confident and comfortable to say I am ready. . Mrs.Ortega prepares you to succeed in your state test. One of my classmates in this course took the exam in Georgia this past Monday and am happy to say she passed. If you like to win and succeed, this is this place to begin. Word of advise pay attention to every word. If you are making the investment take the time to learn. You will get what you put your mind to. If you want to learn; learn this is you opportunity to learn an abundance colleges and universities don't give, but a student loan. Give yourself the opportunity to open doors for yourself.
