I am a teacher and have been in education for quite some time, and for me personally, this is the most well-designed courses I have ever taken. The strategies and techniques that Mrs. Ortega teaches are ones that I wish many educators would be able to see and adapt to fit their content areas of teaching, because the strategies in this course really do work. It amazes me that I have learned so much in this course, so quickly and I really feel that I have gained long-term knowledge that I will be able to use in my career and future endeavors. I can say that I would definitely recommend Mrs. Ortega and Medical Coding Academy's CPC Exam course and I am excited to say that I will be taking another course very soon to add to my credentials. The materials are well designed-from the tabbing system all the way to the flashcards and resumes, Mrs. Ortega thought of it all for her students. The CPC exam is a challenging test, but with this program, I knew I was equipped to handle that challenge. Mrs. Ortega teaches you invaluable information and strategies to master everything the test throws at you. I am pleased to say that I passed the exam on the first try! The most important part of it all is that Mrs. Ortega gives all the glory to God, and her heart is for her students to know Him. She uses her platform for His glory! At first I honestly believed that there could be NO way that someone could... read more learn medical coding in three days, take the certification test, and then most likely pass it on their first try. How ever, Mrs.Ortega does an AMAZING job of breaking down the books and guidelines for you and explains to the best of her ability everything that you REALLY need to know. It happens so fast but you will be amazed how much you can learn in a day. Just make sure you do all the required book work and you'll be golden. Give it a shot, I promise it won't hurt to try!

We had no idea that this lady was about to blow our minds with everything she had to give and offer. When I say she was heaven-sent I'm not kidding she was a blessing to our minds and she taught us what we needed to learn in 3 days at the medical coding Academy to be the best coders that we can be. She has opened our minds to a lot of things and I’m very blessed to say that GOD BLESSED US!!!! People, this lady was GOD sent to all of us. When it comes to teaching she is like no other. She believes in what she does and her students. She is a teacher who goes over her power to make sure that you know what you are doing and has the patience with you when you don't ’ have the patience for yourself. "WHAT"teacher do you know of that you can call at all times of the day or night, even on weekends? Mrs. Ortega. She is a very positive motivator who refuses to let you quit. Her "love it or leave it method" really saved me time, so much that I finished 40 minutes early! Her color-coding method is A MUST to draw your attention to the info you need, eliminating precious time wasted on those exam questions. Do exact what she says! Memorize the codes, study the guidelines and learn that terminology!
