There's a lot of prep work that must be done BEFORE coming to the classes, I warn you don't wait until the last minute to do the pre-work that comes into the mail. Also be prepared for a lot of classwork and homework as well. However, Mrs. Ortega is amazing, passionate teacher and the knowledge you gain in this 3 day course will take months in a community college and at higher prices with no confidence that you are prepared for the exam. Taking Mrs. Ortega course, I feel prepared! Thank you so much Ms Ortega, you and your team are awesome.

She through God’s help... read more anointed our abilities to receive all the knowledge we needed to become successful coders. I was struggling trying to pass the CPC (Certified Professional Coder) exam. Then when a friend mentioned Mrs. Ortega’s class the “Medical Coding Academy” to me; yes, at first there was a little doubt but I had to walk out on faith and trust the God in me. After watching her videos on the internet and reviews and reading all the posts I was sold on taking her class. I decided she’s the one who will take me to the next level of my career in coding. I signed up immediately. She’s now my teacher, my instructor and my mentor in Medical Coding. She took me and the entire class under her wings and boy did we fly. In 3-days of boot camp in Dallas, Texas on November 17th – 19th she broke the body down from head-to-toe and then we took the EXAM the following day on the 20th. We became the Professional Coders she built us up to become. YES, yes, yes I PASSED on the 1st try after taking her class!!! I’m so excited that I’m CERTIFIED! She is the absolute truth when it comes down to skillful teaching. She’s not the norm, she’s a gift from God. She knows her stuff. She not only teaches it; she lives it, she breathes it and she produced it. I’m telling you if you are struggling in trying to pass the CPC exam you need to sign-up TODAY and take her class. She’s the #1 Lady in the land that I know of, who will give you all the tools you need to become that successful medical coder you’ve dreamed to become. When she says, “write this down…LOL” you better write it down or you’ll miss something very intriguing in your studies. Why pay a school loan money when you can... read more pay yourself money and not have a school loan that ruins your credit. Please do yourself a favor take her class take a leap of faith. MCA offers a good and affordable program and Mrs. Ortega is diligent in teaching the necessary skills for coding. There are many times when difficult questions arise and all the appropriate answers are in her videos. I achieved success in my medical coding studies due to the instructions of Mrs. Ortega. I passed my exam on the first try under her preparation materials. Thank you to Mrs. Ortega and the Medical Coding Academy.
