Admittedly, I had doubts about my... read more abilities to learn everything I needed to pass my board exam within only a 3 day weekend course, along with absolutely zero experience in medical coding and billing (not to mention never laying eyes on a single code prior to class). I am the type of person that likes to explore all my options and see everything out as they are. I am telling you now, DO NOT GO THE LONG WAY AROUND THE MOUNTAIN!!! Sign up for her course, it is only for your own good! Absolutely everything that is pertinent to passing the board exam is covered within your 3 days with Mrs. Ortega. Do not waste your ENERGY, MONEY, or TIME with any other program, whether it is a vocational school or online program. You will only be hurting yourself in the end. You will not gain the essential and practical knowledge needed to pass your exam, become certified, and land a job. Mrs. Ortega is absolutely your best coach, and breaks everything down until she makes you completely understand, before moving on. Both her and her staff have an incredible response time, and work around the clock to take care of their students. They absolutely have your best interest at heart while you are a part of their program. She is such a genuine and good-hearted person, and wants to make sure every single one of her students succeed. I know walking out of class that I will absolutely pass my Board Exam on the first try. Long story short, take the plunge, YOU WILL THANK YOURSELF LATER!! �

But anyway, she kept saying, pick this answer and KEEP IT MOVING. The whole time I was taking my test, I literally could hear her saying it every time I chose the right one. I even smiled and laughed to myself. Who does that during a test? Thank you Ms. Ortega and her holy crew for being patient with us, and sharing your gift, your passion, but most of all, your time. I felt like a rock star going into that test and with an hour to spare, I walked out feeling just the same, it’s all because of you. When I pass I know for a fact, I’ll be back on here posting that BIG PASSING SCORE! I’m gonna take a picture. Bless you!!

Mrs. Ortega really has a gift for teaching, she taught the course in a way that if you haven't learned anything about coding before going to her three day course you would be able to understand. Moving forward I feel strongly about becoming a coder, and I will definitely be going to Medical Coding Academy to take more course to add under my belt. I came out of high school with... read more zero medical experience and was able to complete the course and take the test. Mrs. Ortega was a superb teacher!!! She kept the class moving along and took time to explain each of the different concepts clearly. She gave the students one-on-one time and answered our questions promptly. The assistants were also very helpful and helped me keep up on my projects. I loved the course and the way that Mrs. Ortega taught us all. I am looking forward to getting to obtain a medical coding outpatient job for while I am in college. This course was definitely worth the time and money necessary!! Without it, I don't know how else I would've been able to finish the test, let alone get a good score on it. Thank you so much, Medical Coding Academy!!!!!
