This nurse practitioner has more than 124,000 followers and is part of the “award-winning medical documentary series NY Med, which first aired on ABC in 2012.” Her posts are humorous, insightful and have plenty of attitude.
2. CDC (@cdcgov)
If you’re looking to stay updated on the latest medical news, there’s no better place than the source. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) instagram account “is the official IG source for credible health and safety updates for CDC.” By following this account, you’ll have an edge on other medical coders when it comes to your industry knowledge.
OK, this isn’t an account, but it’s a hashtag you should be following on Instagram. See what medical coders and billers across the country are posting about. You’ll often find humorous content mixed in with real-life stories and insights from your fellow students and professionals.
4. AAPC (@aapc_official)
Providing a good mix of video and image content, the AAPC sets many of the standards in the medical coding industry. Stay tuned to this Instagram account for the latest medical coding news, updates and standards of medical coding and billing.
5. Medical Coding Academy (@medicalcodingacademy)
