If you’re considering becoming a certified medical cider- this is the place to do it!! PERIOD❣️
I ordered the online course back in December. I received my books within a couple of weeks. I didn’t start taking the the course until a few weeks later. When I did finally get busy and start the course, I finished the course fairly quickly, like when I focused and DID WHAT SHE SAID, I was complete in a couple of weeks.😳
I’m here to tell you, Mrs. Ortega knows what she’s talking about !!! DO EVERYTHING THIS WOMAN SAYS! 😊 I took my Mock exam, and scored an 84, still passing, but I want to do better, should do better, that’s on me, as I didn’t start out DOING WHAT SHE SAID 🤨, but I regrouped,after struggling for a bit, then  followed her rules and ways and breezed thru the rest of the Mock test. I’ll be going back through watching some of her videos, studying some of the rationales, see where and why I missed the ones I did, so I can score even higher on my real test! 😍
Be determined, put in the time and effort, follow along in your book with her, do EVERYTHING she says, and you will have no problem passing!!! 💯

I want to preface this review by saying I am highly skeptical. Always. Of every one/thing  know “resting .. unimpressed face I guess. So you know when I gush about this program and Miss Ortega you know it’s real! If you’re lucky enough to attend a 3 day boot camp once you meet Miss Ortega, hear her inspirational story and soak up the knowledge she passes on, I promise you will forever be a fan. I’ve referred so many people to her program and receive nothing but the satisfaction of knowing I’ve referred s good friend to a real industry professional that will educate, coach and inspire. That is so rare in the industry and in teaching in general. I was a coded for many many years but my anxiety made passing the test impossible. I took the 3 day and (I hate to brag) but ACED that thing! It was such a proud moment of accomplishment for me. I had no idea that this “little 3 day” course would be so impact in the long term. DO EVERYTHING THIS WOMAN SAYS!
I completed the course and took my mock exam within 4 months of starting. Upon 3 months after my mock Exam, I moved 3 times waited on internet service and could not take my exam until 3 months after my mock exam! My books were in storage but I knew that I needed to buckle down and just take my boards no matter what. I went and got my books from storage on Monday, scheduled my online exam for the end of that week for Friday! I just went through the 350 cases again and the bonus questions in the back! The morning of the test I reviewed my GO TO guidelines so they would be fresh on my mind! I finished with 45 minutes to spare and scored a 90! Mrs. Ortega made this all possible by not only teaching me how to take the test but knowing where to look if I was confused! MCA is definitely worth it for anyone! I’ve already recommended 3 people that are going to take it in 2023! To be able to pass the exam months after I completed the course says so much about how well Mrs Ortega prepares you! I did not come across one question in the exam where I was surprised or completely lost!

Hey there! I attended the 3 day boot camp in July at the Orlando airport location. I already posted that I passed my exam right after the course. But I want to also let you know I got a phenomenal job with a great company as a risk adjustment coding auditor!! THANK GOD I found this course. I recently decided to turn to medical coding for my career path instead of what I have been planning since I was a freshman in high school. Once I made this career path change, I was OVERWHELMED by what I was finding online about the career field: NOTHING. I found all these (basically bogus) schools online (I needed an online school because I still am enrolled as a part time student at my community college and work full time). I didn’t know which test to go with: AAPC, AHIMA, NHA. It was mortifying that I had no help online figuring out what to do. One day I just decided to search medical coding on Facebook to see reviews on which schools were actually preparing people to pass one of the tests. I found MCA and the reviews about Mrs. Ortega were phenomenal so I slept on it and prayed about it and read about her faithful curriculum and decided I was going to do it. I attended her 3 day course. What to expect: HARD CORE, SLEEP DEPRIVED, LONG HOUR COURSE. But what you get from this short term and rigorous experience is an intriguing and influential guidance in order to pass the CPC. Although tiresome and overwhelming at times, the staff and Mrs. Ortega are so supportive and helpful to understand the work. DO THE PREWORK!!!! Take 6 minute bathroom breaks and be ready to buckle down because teaching is what Mrs. Ortega is ready for and it is the best experience you will have. GREAT JOB MCA!!!!! I’m taking my test in 6 days and am excited to see how I do!
Update 2022: I passed my CPC exam on the first try. I later went to the COC 1 day course which was just as amazing as the first. I took my COC exam and also passed the first time. MCA sets you up to succeed. I wouldn’t be where I am today without Mrs. Ortega’s innovative program.
