I went into Medical coding academy not knowing how to code at all and walked away from this 3 day intensive training program confident and knowing how to code, and most importantly knowing the rules and guidelines to being a successful coder! I'm taking my AAPC certification exam November 2016, and I'm so ready to tackle that certification exam thanks to Delissa! Delissa has a passion for teaching and helping others and it shows! She is thorough, patient, and knows her stuff! She is simply amazing! I thank God that I found Medical coding academy and Delissa! This 3 day intensive training program is definitely intensive. I have never learned so much in a 3 day time frame in my life until this 3 day intensive, but it was so worth it. I have tried classes with the AAPC and that didn't work. Then I did a class online with Penn Foster. It wasn't teaching me what I needed to know. As single mom I was desperate for change and even having experience in the medical field I wanted and need more. I came across a comment in facebook Group from the AAPC how this lady went to MCA. And she accomplished 3 credentials in 6 months. I was like no way. I read Mrs. Oretega reviews and watched her Youtube videos. All of them. I was like there is not one bad comment. I jump out in faith paid for class pack my bags and got to the next class. Which was Orlando Florida on 04/26/19. Mrs. Oretega is the most passionate teacher I have ever met in my entire life being 33 years old. She is straight to the point and she pushed me. She taught me discipline which is hard to do being a single mother and living everyday life. Words can't express how much I am grateful for the 3 day course. I couldn't have made a better sacrifice for my family and I. I know I will pass my CPC exam. This review is not even enough to express my experience.
