If you aren’t already on YouTube, you need to be. But it isn’t just for entertaining, trending videos. There are lots of valuable tips, from home maintenance advice to medical coding training. We’ll be focusing on the latter today.
Here are five medical coding YouTube channels you need to be following:
1. Armando Hasudungan
Visual learner? Want to stay updated about the medical industry in general? Armando’s channel is good for both new and experienced medical coders and his videos often feature him drawing out the content in his videos to easily explain them.
2. Dr. Najeeb
If you’re more of an old-school student and lectures are more your thing, Dr. Najeeb’s lecture videos may be for you. He covers everything from basic medical science to clinical medicine and his videos are trusted in almost 200 countries. If you’re looking to cram before an exam or just want to brush up on the basics, Dr. Najeeb is for you.
3. Osmosis
Another great follow for visual learners, Osmosis features animated, graphic-fueled videos that are sure to be helpful for medical coders and billers. This channel typically posts four videos a week and they’re all short, info-packed and easily digestible.
4. American Academy of Professional Coders
Stay updated about industry happenings with the AAPC YouTube page. Get the latest on medical coding events, updates in standards and medical coding salary surveys. Their videos are usually straightforward and to the point.
5. Medical Coding Academy
Yep, don’t forget about us! We post valuable medical coding videos regularly, from Mrs. Ortega’s hidden industry tips and tricks to announcements about new products or classes. We also throw in a few culture or humor videos from time to time, so following our medical coding YouTube channel is a great way to spend your free time.
