But anyway, she kept saying, pick this answer and KEEP IT MOVING. The whole time I was taking my test, I literally could hear her saying it every time I chose the right one. I even smiled and laughed to myself. Who does that during a test? Thank you Ms. Ortega and her holy crew for being patient with us, and sharing your gift, your passion, but most of all, your time. I felt like a rock star going into that test and with an hour to spare, I walked out feeling just the same, it’s all because of you. I came across her on YouTube and was instantly intrigued with her passion for teaching. She is all that she claims to be and more. She breaks down coding to the simplest form. She is a master at her craft. You will learn more in 3 days then you could ever gather in a 3 year program. You will NOT regret this investment. With that being said, the best advice I can give anyone who is contemplating signing up because " it sounds too good to be true", stop questioning it and give her a call. It is definitely too good but it is all true. It was the most informative 3 days of my life and I had never opened up a coding book before her class. Make sure you follow all her instructions and do ALL the prework and homework she gives you prior to showing up on day 1. There is a method to her madness and it will make all the difference in the world for those 3 days.

Best Course I could have ever taken, I drove all the way from Denver Colorado to take 3 courses all at once so I could get that alphabet soup Ms.... read more Ortega talked about in her other YouTube Videos. If you have the money to take several courses all at once, I highly recommend doing so . I tested out all three of my exams pretty much within the same month and passed all three in the 1st try. Now I am CPC, COC, & CPMA board certified and it is all thanks to Ms. Ortega and her wonderful school, The Medical Coding Academy!

None of my University professors compared to Mrs. Ortega. She is filled with so much energy and really has her heart into teaching. She not only helped me prepare for the CPC exam, but she got me really motivated to pursue more credentials. For anyone about to take the CPC exam I HIGHLY suggest you take the prep class.
