... read more I wholeheartedly recommend Medical Coding Academy to anyone interested in pursuing a career in medical coding. I am someone who always researches products, services, schools and basically anything or anyone I will invest my time and money in. After I did my due diligence, I decided to enroll myself in Medical Coding Academy’s online course. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. Before the course, I had no medical coding experience. However, now I have so much knowledge and I was competently prepared to take the certification exam. It was a very tough exam, but I am glad to say that I passed it on my first try! It is evident that Mrs. Ortega loves her profession and that she is extremely knowledgeable. Most importantly, she is able to teach her students effectively and provide them with the tools they need for success. If all of that was not enough, it is clear that Mrs. Ortega has an emotional investment in her students and wants them to succeed. It is a rare thing to find in a school and an instructor. I was nervous and anxious before the course because it has been many years since I have studied and taken a test, but Mrs. Ortega made the course so fun!
