  • My wife and I recently took the MCA, CPC 3 day course in Dallas. We traveled all the way from Atlanta to attend this phenomenal event. When I tell you... read more that this was one of the best investments of our money and time, I am not exaggerating!! Mrs. Ortega and her wonderful team of Belen, Angelica, Ladonna and Susan were beyond great. Words cannot express the feeling we have for them. I will not lie, the 3 days are challenging but so worth it! I am more than confident that my wife and I are overly prepared to take the CPC that we are scheduled for this upcoming Saturday, and we will pass it the first time!!! The energy of the class and the staff is so loving and helpful and inspiring. It’s like the family you didn’t know you had. If you are new in the industry or struggling to pass your CPC certification, YOU NEED TO BE HERE! You will not regret it. I will definitely be back for my COC, CRC, CPMA and the rest of the “alphabet soup”. Keep it moving!!!!

Let me tell you about the star of this course Mrs. Ortega. She is a wonderful teacher I have never met any teacher who is as dedicated to her students as she is. She is there to help you no matter what , if you can't find a page she will come to you and help you find a page if you can't understand a topic in class she will explain it to you until you get it. She really wants us to do well and help us. I feel really blessed to have met her and I am really grateful for all she has done for me and for our class. Its not just the her but even her staff has that same dedication she has. They will help you and put in all what they have to achieve your goal. Everyone there is so kind and helpful. The biggest thing I can tell you is just trust Mrs. Ortga because she knows what she is doing listen to her and do what she asks you to do all the pre work and homework because in the beginning I wasn't too sure what was going on with the pre work but once she completed the course everything was so clear. So just trust her and follow her instructions and you don't have to worry because she and her staff will be there for you.

Something was missing for me to be able to understand what I've learned and apply it in order to pass the boards. Ms. Ortega and the MCA were my missing link! I learned PRICELESS knowledge from Ms. Ortega! Her dedication to her Academy and her students is OUTSTANDING! To have never met your instructor before and for her to selflessly put so much of herself into her students as she does is honorable! God has blessed this woman to bless others through her gift of teaching, and I'm thankful for this blessing and opportunity! I sacrificed a lot to take a chance on this course traveling from Illinois to Texas.. but IT WAS SO WORTH IT!!! Thank you Ms. Ortega and the MCA staff!

  • I'm Paul Farley andI'm a career changer. A few years ago, I was teaching and I broke my left femur and after that, I had to find something else.... read more In researching medical coding, I came across Ms. Ortega's YouTube channel. God put her in my pathway. Of that I am sure! Ms. Ortega is exactly the same in person as she is on YouTube. She is passionate about what she does, she is un-matched as far as subject matter knowledge goes, and her enthusiasm shines through. A word of warning: It is a very intense three day boot camp. When she talks about that in her videos, that is no joke!. However, you will be amazed at how much you learn and retain through it all. Her methods for navigating the CPC exam WORK! I promise you they do! Ms. Ortega always says in her videos that she's a text away. She is absolutely telling you the truth. I have to confess, I didn't pass my CPC on the first attempt. I didn't manage my time well enough. However, as soon as I let her know that I didn't make it on the first try, she was on the case. She helped me with extra practice cases, with advice, and with a patience and kindness. Today, I got a wonderful Christmas present when I found out I had passed the CPC. It truly is a beast! As a teacher myself, I here want to say that Ms. Ortega has in a full measure the most important quality a teacher has to have and that is she has a true servant heart. One last thing. If the cost is causing you to doubt whether you should do this or not; if the need to possibly travel to Dallas or to a city near you; if timed tests make you nervous like they do me, do not listen to the doubts. Do what it takes to get signed up for the three-day course. You'll never be sorry you did. And please do the pre-work before you show up for class. You'll be very glad you did.
