I PASSED!!!!!!!!! Recently I completed Mrs. Ortega’s 3-day CPC course followed by the exam on the fourth day in March 2018. Mrs. Ortega’s class is amazing and a godsend. I... read more have no medical background at all and passed the CPC certification exam with an 86% and am now a certified coder with career options. To give you some background, I have taken the certification exam twice, the first time I did not completely follow Mrs. Ortega’s direction and ended up running out of time. Whenever I would get to the correct answer in less than 30 seconds, and you will, I would second guess myself and go the long way around to verify if the answer was correct. I did myself a disservice by doing this and ran out of time with 30 questions left that I had to randomly guess at. This time around, I followed Mrs. Ortega’s instruction to the letter; I got to the right answer in less than 30 seconds on most of the questions, did not second guess myself and trusted Mrs. Ortega and finished the exam with about 40 minutes to spare. I recommend Mrs. Ortega’s 3-day CPC coding course to anyone interested in becoming certified and asking you to believe what she is telling you, it is all true. The 3-day class is a lot of work, but has a huge payoff. Mrs. Ortega would say, “A short term pain for a long term gain.” This is very true and can change your life.
