Sign up for her course, it is only for your own good! Absolutely everything that is pertinent to passing the board exam is covered within your 3 days with Mrs. Ortega. Do not waste your ENERGY, MONEY, or TIME with any other program, whether it is a vocational school or online program. You will only be hurting yourself in the end. You will not gain the essential and practical knowledge needed to pass your exam, become certified, and land a job. Mrs. Ortega is absolutely your best coach, and breaks everything down until she makes you completely understand, before moving on. Both her and her staff have an incredible response time, and work around the clock to take care of their students. They absolutely have your best interest at heart while you are a part of their program. She is such a genuine and good-hearted person, and wants to make sure every single one of her students succeed. Recently spent the weekend in Ms. Ortega's CPC class in Chicago. I have zero coding experience. She is very detailed and intense. You can tell she has... read more her heart in her mission to help others transition to a medical coding career. As a former facilitator (teacher) of MBA's I can tell you she has the communications skills in simplifying what is a difficult subject area and how to handle the CPC test which historically has low pass scores on the first attempt. Passed my exam on the FIRST TRY ! God is so good ❤️ It was not easy and took a lot of hard work, prayer, and dedication but I did... read more it !!! I just want to say thank you so much Mrs. Ortega for being such an amazing teacher. Your passion, devotion, and kind spirits kept me uplifted and wanting to learn more. I decided to take the MCA online program due to me being a single mother of 3 and I did not want to travel due to covid. I had my 3rd baby girl February of this year and decided to enroll into Mrs. Ortega's MCA program shortly after that. I knew it wasn't going to be easy but something deep down told me I could do it. I was ready to start my new career in medical coding and make a better life for my children. I know it was nothing but God giving me that push that I needed. It was difficult getting into the motions of working, doing my school work / studying while being a mom to a newborn and 2 toddlers. It felt like it was going to be impossible to do my MCA assignments but I pushed those negative thoughts aside and decided to make a schedule. It took me a little longer to finish but on October 16th I finally took my CPC exam and within a few days I found out I passed. At first I was kind of disappointed in myself because I passed with a 73% but then I thought about everything I been through to get to this point and was just happy that I actually passed on the first try. If you are interested in the medical coding field please give Mrs. Ortega's MCA program a try. You will not regret it. Not only is it affordable, the knowledge you learn is life changing !
