I honestly had my doubts, but went on Faith. My Faith did NOT let me down. As she stated herself, Ms. Ortega is truly anointed in all facets of providing ALL that's needed to pass the CPC exam. With a score of 90%! How awsome is that? I havr absolutely NO medical training or experience. I'm your average factory worker. If I can attend this course and pass with flying colors on the first try, anyone can. If you come with an open heart and mind you can take a major step in the direction of a new career. Not to mention that I've places a few applications as soon as I received my scores. And I've already have a call back. As soon as I land a job I'll update this review again. Stay tuned! **UPDATE** 1/16/18 I HAVE A JOB! I probably would jave started sooner but due to the holidays my hiring process was delayed. I had an interview on 12/14 I think. I went great. I said EVERYTHING Mrs. Ortega told us in class. If not for certain staff being out on long vacations I'm sertan I would have started sooner. But my 1st official dat of work was today. And let me tell you, I was better prepared that I knew. I couldn't have done this without Medicaid coding academy. Nope, it wouldn't have happened. With this program I was not only given the tools to pass my exam but land my first coding job! If your not convinced then your not ready for a career in this field. Plain and simple!

This "Boot Camp" was fantastic from the word GO! Miss Ortega and every single person on her staff for that matter are there to make sure NOBODY gets left behind.... read more YOU work hard no lie, hence my reference to the "Boot Camp" but they all work just as hard as you do & right along side of you. ALL questions are answered no matter how many times it takes to make sure we are all on the same wave length. Miss Ortega has a truly Blessed nature for teaching and and does a fabulous job! She is the most caring person I have ever taken a class from, she is not there for the dollar signs she is there for pleasure of helping you to succeed and improve your own self! I learned more in the 3 days I had with her than I did in any face to face course I had taken with Brick and Mortar charging me a through the teeth... I am awaiting my results for the exam I took now. Thank you, thank you, thank you.... will never truly show how much I appreciate what she and her team have done for me!! However; the fact that I will be back for another "Boot Camp" to get to the next Alphabet Credential, does say a lot... I was skeptical that a three... read more day course would be enough to prepare me to pass a coding certification. I'm pleased to say that I'm no longer skeptical, and I feel very well prepared to take the certification exam. I highly enjoyed the course, and the teacher. I will be recommending Medical Coding Academy to anyone, and everyone, that I come into contact with who has an interest in obtaining a coding certification.
