  • I want to take a minute to thank God for putting Mrs. Ortega and her Medical Coding Academy in my path. Before this course I was at a point in... read more my life where I had experienced many difficult moments and I didn't know where I was headed, I felt a bit lost in life. I am a single mother of an amazing 5-year-old boy, my biggest blessing by far. As you may understand I need to provide for my child so one night I was on YouTube and decided to search for Medical coding schools (I've always been interested in the medical field, but I know nursing isn't what I wanted to do, so I was looking for medical coding schools). I was scrolling through the videos reading the titles waiting for one to catch my attention, and I read 'Medical Coding: The Ugly Truth About Vocational Colleges'. I watched the video and immediately became interested in everything Mrs. Ortega had spoken about in her video. I watched every single video on her YouTube page. I knew then and there I had to take her CPC course. I began to look into the course and the dates, Mrs. Ortega wasn't going to be in Indianapolis, In (where I reside) until October 2017. That was way TOO long for me. I knew in my heart that God had guided me to her Academy for a purpose and I couldn't ignore it. I looked at all the other cities she would be in in February 2017, and Miami Florida was the next one. Without doubt in my heart and mind I spoke with my mom (my support system, my biggest fan) and told her I needed to take the course. My mom backed me up me and together we drove 18 hours from Indianapolis, IN to Miami, FL. It was the best decision of my life. It was worth every sacrifice I made to make it to that classroom on Friday morning. I felt the passion she has for what she teaches in every word that she spoke. You can see in her eyes how genuine she is about helping you. I loved every second in that classroom. I will be taking my test in 4 weeks and I feel beyond positive that I will pass it thanks to everything I learned in Mrs. Ortega's course. I will definitely be taking other courses with Mrs. Ortega to keep adding certifications to my name. Thank God for Mrs. Ortega she has truly been a blessing in my life. Let her be a blessing in yours as well.

Why pay a school loan money when you can... read more pay yourself money and not have a school loan that ruins your credit. Please do yourself a favor take her class take a leap of faith. Aren't you tired of the broke life i am. It makes so upset when i waste time and money at that school. I have mouths to feed. She's a phenomenal person you will be blessed and happy that you took the class.

The things that you will learn in a short period of time with Mrs. Ortega, are spot on! I just finished her course here in the bay area, and I'm glad that I did! I trusted my instinct. It was love at first sight kinda thing because I'm no coder at all, BUT now I became One! I saw her passion in this industry, her love for her students, she really do CARES people. She is far the BEST Teacher I ever had. I've met few people in my entire life who has the qualities are rare, who posses a kind and pure heart, down to earth, and you can trust rely on them, and she is one of them. I went to her CPC course in Sacramento, and I learned tons of knowledge about Medical Coding. Thank God for the VA for paying that bill and it wasn’t even close to preparing me the way Mrs. Ortega did for the CPC. I am here to give her due for the course she has designed and if you are serious about your career MCA is where you need to be. It’s intense as I just mentioned but worth more than we paid. Thank you Mrs. Ortega. I will recommend MCA over any other school or boot camp any day.
