I was very... read more well prepared for the test because I followed Mrs. Ortega's directions to the letter. The days were very long and there were late nights doing homework but if you do the work you too will pass. Medical Coding Academy was a fantastic investment and I plan to take the COC in Dallas this spring. Stop thinking about maybe doing it someday. JUST DO IT! Thank you to all of the staff and thank you Mrs. Ortega for investing your time and talent in us in Tampa. You are a blessing. I'll see you in Dallas this spring!

The things that you will learn in a short period of time with Mrs. Ortega, are spot on! I just finished her course here in the bay area, and I'm glad that I did! I trusted my instinct. It was love at first sight kinda thing because I'm no coder at all, BUT now I became One! I saw her passion in this industry, her love for her students, she really do CARES people. She is far the BEST Teacher I ever had. I've met few people in my entire life who has the qualities are rare, who posses a kind and pure heart, down to earth, and you can trust rely on them, and she is one of them. I went to her CPC course in Sacramento, and I learned tons of knowledge about Medical Coding. I'm sure this is not the last time that I will see her because once I get my Board Certification, I will come back and take another course from her. All of the staff and instructors at Medical Coding Academy have a heart for the students! They don’t take your investment lightly! They invest in you and give you all the strategies to succeed! My best advice if you are on the fence... RUN don’t walk and sign up! When you sign up do ALL of the Pre-work and classwork, it is essential to your success! If possible I recommend staying on site even if you are local (you’ll be glad you did). It really is AMAZING!

  • I want to give a big THANK YOU to the staff at MCA!!!! As soon as I made my first phone call they were able to answer all my questions... read more and guided me through the process to get started. 2 weeks later I met one of the best instructors I could have had. None of my University professors compared to Mrs. Ortega. She is filled with so much energy and really has her heart into teaching. She not only helped me prepare for the CPC exam, but she got me really motivated to pursue more credentials. For anyone about to take the CPC exam I HIGHLY suggest you take the prep class. There is so much information you will miss out on if you don't. I get my results tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited for the future. Thank you MCA!

Yet the best part is before the bootcamp I only knew coding in part but after Mrs. Ortega's class I could see it as a whole picture! I FEEL SO BLESSED to have found this bootcamp and firmly believe I would not have passed without it

Do all the pre work prior to the class as she requests. It will make your life so much easier. This is the course for for you and it is not a scam. Edit added to say. I passed with flying colors. I can not thank you enough Mrs. Ortega. Your class is a God send and just amazing. I can't wait to see you in PA when I take your COC course. I will very much be a repeat customer.
