The course offered a no non-sense approach of systematically approaching the CPC... read more exam. The presentation delivers information that allows you to feel more confident in taking the exam. The instructor also linked CPT, ICD-10CM, and HCPCS in a cohesive format to better prepare your approach in taking the exam since time is of the essence and there is a lot to read. In the past, I have had many questions about medical coding and each training day resolved many of my past questions. The organization cares about your test outcome and your personal, professional success. The three days are intense but worth your time. Not only do I recommend everyone to take this course but if you really want to be certified DO NOT THINK TWICE. You will be glad you did it. By the way, I did not get pay for my opinion, nor am I related to anyone in the organization. I am just a student who took the course and wish somebody would have told me about Medical Coding Academy sooner.

Her "love it or leave it method" really saved me time, so much that I finished 40 minutes early! Her color-coding method is A MUST to draw your attention to the info you need, eliminating precious time wasted on those exam questions. Do exact what she says! Memorize the codes, study the guidelines and learn that terminology!

Mrs Ortega has such a humble & sweet spirit and really gives her all in these 3 days. The course was tough, you’re definitely pushed and challenged, but it’s well worth it in the end. I wasn’t sure what to expect but Mrs. Ortega will have you leaving on that 3rd day feeling well prepared. I can tell that all she does is truly out of LOVE! You can tell she loves what she does, loves to serve others & is truly gifted and anointed! I’m already looking forward to completely the next credential course with her. I would highly recommend (and already have to some family members) to take this course it truly is life changing!
