I was very skeptic when i first looked... read more into the class especially because I was going to be travel to Texas for the 3 day boot camp. The 3 day course is no joke, it is a lot of information with long days and hours of homework ever night. However it was all worth it, I was able to retain a lot of valuable information. I think it was imperative for me that the test was taken the day after I completed the course. Everything was still fresh in my mind. Mrs.Ortega gives you all of the tools (her tabbing system makes a world of difference) to pass the test along with the self confidence. As long as you put in the work you will successful! I highly recommend this class to anyone that wants to put in hard work and become a Certified Medical Coder. And I look forward to attending more classes with the Medical Coding Academy.

Admittedly, I had doubts about my... read more abilities to learn everything I needed to pass my board exam within only a 3 day weekend course, along with absolutely zero experience in medical coding and billing (not to mention never laying eyes on a single code prior to class). I am the type of person that likes to explore all my options and see everything out as they are. I am telling you now, DO NOT GO THE LONG WAY AROUND THE MOUNTAIN!!! Sign up for her course, it is only for your own good! Absolutely everything that is pertinent to passing the board exam is covered within your 3 days with Mrs. Ortega. Do not waste your ENERGY, MONEY, or TIME with any other program, whether it is a vocational school or online program. You will only be hurting yourself in the end. You will not gain the essential and practical knowledge needed to pass your exam, become certified, and land a job. Mrs. Ortega is absolutely your best coach, and breaks everything down until she makes you completely understand, before moving on. Both her and her staff have an incredible response time, and work around the clock to take care of their students. They absolutely have your best interest at heart while you are a part of their program. She is such a genuine and good-hearted person, and wants to make sure every single one of her students succeed. I know walking out of class that I will absolutely pass my Board Exam on the first try. Long story short, take the plunge, YOU WILL THANK YOURSELF LATER!! �
