I have spoken to a... read more couple attendees from my class who have taken their CPC exam already and have stated that her strategies and tips WORK!! This 3-day course is brutal, starting with the pre-work all the way to the end of the 3rd day. How bad do YOU want it? You will get out of this as much as you put forth. If you are "IN", so is Mrs. Ortega! Utilize her wealth of knowledge to the fullest and LISTEN to what she teaches. She's a "tough cookie" but you have to be in order to deliver the amount of information taught in this course. She goes go out of her way to ensure everyone understands the concepts. I cannot WAIT to take my exam Saturday with a passing grade the FIRST time! ;-)

I did a lot of research on different schools in my area and even online classes but I kept getting disappointed with what I was seeing .. So one night, literally one week before Mrs Ortega was to held her 3 day course in Orlando I stumbled upon her program. After reading all the wonderful reviews and seeing her YouTube videos something inside of me told me to go for it and sign up! And boy I’m so glad I listened.. Mrs Ortega teaches with passion , she puts her whole heart into what she does... She lights a fire in you to go after the alphabet soup and have more credentials to your name.. Mrs Ortega is a leader , a strong women , your biggest cheerleader and your teacher ... Trust me you are going to be a believer the minute you meet her.

After watching Mrs. Ortega's videos on youtube, for some reason something told me to go for it, So I did. I just finished the CPC course in Philly and I must tell you that it was one of the BEST decision I have made! I love Mrs. Ortega!! She has such a passion for what she does that it makes you truly understand the world of medical coding. The words and methods that she uses makes things so easy to understand. I HIGHLY highly highly recommend to take her courses, she truly knows what she is doing and is beautiful person inside and out!! so if your doubting or hesitating about joining the medical academy program.. DON'T! .. GO FOR IT!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!

This course is intense, you will need to dedicate yourself to it and nothing else. If you do that , you too WILL pass on the first try. She teaches you what you need to know to beat the test. Time saving strategies. She definitely teaches you how to work smarter, not harder. If you are on the fence, pick the medical coding academy side. You won't regret it. Thank you Mrs. Ortega.
