I took the 3 days course for CPC without any prior knowledge about  coding, I was a bit skeptical going for the classes but on day 2 i felt like i was confident enough to give the exam. The class was amazing and easy to follow. She gives you all the instruction you need to successfully pass the test. Honestly, she gives you more.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I  just passed my CPC exam after Mrs. Ortega's 3 day class!!! Yall, let me tell yall, what they say is TRUE. If you take this class and do EVERYTHING this woman says, you will pass. I  had an amazing experience in class, she takes her time to make sure everyone is on the same page and everyone is understanding. No one gets left behind!! I  actually failed my first attempt of the exam; however I  will admit that was me not doing everything she said, how she said it. After I  failed, she took so much time talking to me over FG messenger, working with me and talking me through how to pass my next attempt. She even provided me with a couple of extra study guides and mock exams to make sure I  had the tools I  needed. I  can't say enough good things about her truly!! I saw her videos on YouTube and saw the passion that she had for her program and wanting to help others. It was the best choice I ever made and I would do it again. This is my second certification under Mrs. Ortega's instruction this year. I took the MCA online courses for both the CPC and COC preparation. Honestly, she has been an unexpected blessing in my life this year. I have no doubt whatsoever that God intervened in my discovering her class. She is an amazing teacher. I was introduced to the Medical Coding Academy by a more knowledgeable friend in the field of Billing and Coding. He told me that the curriculum is geared towards Board Certification of AAPC credentials, but it covers substantial coding syllabus for AHIMA certification. I was preparing for AHIMA certification, so I enrolled for the just concluded Dallas Medical Coding Academy, and this has made positive impact in my preparation for the exams, focused my mind on the techniques of passing the exam, and as the Lord will have it, I passed my AHIMA CCS exam last Thursday, barely 2 weeks after the Boot Camp. My experience with the Boot Camp was positive, positive, and positive. Mrs. Ortega is a gifted Teacher, who puts the interest of her students at heart first. Her passion to teach, her enthusiasm to impart knowledge, and her desire to carry you along, by making you believe in yourself is unrivalled. She simplifies the subject matter of coding to the level that you can grasp, brings out simple analogy to make the contents to be easily understood and assimilated. Though the program was jam-packed and exhaustive three days, there was never a dull moment. Her drive was incomparable, her zeal was infectious. With that, you were on your toes all through, no time to be bored, no time to slumber or fall asleep. We were all wide awake with expectation of what next in her bag of impartation of knowledge. Finally, at the end of the last session of day three of the Boot Camp, she gave us half hour talk encouraging us, making us believe in ourselves, and that we can surmount this exam, and that the only impediment on our ways is our self-doubts, unbelief, and probably loss of momentum. She encouraged us to carry this momentum to the exam hall, ride the wave of self-confidence and self-assurance, and through God’s good grace success will be our portions. I did all these, and carried the momentum into AHIMA exam hall this Thursday, and it was success. I thank the Almighty God, the fountain of all knowledge for this, and I acknowledge Mrs. Ortega, and all the staff of Medical Coding Academy for their assistance, friendliness, accommodation, and for restoring our confidence in ourselves. I highly recommend the 3-Day Medical Coding Academy to anyone preparing to write either the AAPC, CPC, or AHIMA CCS Board Examinations.
