This training class is so worth your time and money. If you are someone who believes in a strong work ethic then this is the class for you. Mrs. Ortega is an awesome teacher. She is a passionate and knowledgeable about Medical coding. Remember back when you were in school: You had your favorite teacher? Remember why they were your favorite teacher? Was it because they were tough on you? Did they push you? Encourage you? Do you recall the end end result? - Did it make you a better person - Did it help you to be the person you are today Were you rise to believe in working hard in life? Do you believe in dreams or creating a vision board? Do you believe that everything happens for a reason? If this brought out that warm fuzzy feeling for you? Then the answer is This is the class for you!!!!! RUN, don't walk RUN!!!!!! And sign up for this class. This is the class you have been waiting to come into your life. Mrs. Ortega is an awesome teacher. I walked into this class knowing nothing about Medical Coding. I walked out with more than just an understanding but with confidence that I can sit for a 5hr exam and pass. If you know that you are surrounded by dream killers - (you know who they are [You know the ones who tell you to don't do this or that because of "XYZ"; you know the ones who have the long laundry list of why you cannot, should not do this or that.]) Keep this a secret, take this class and the exam. Then tell them. TIP: (1) "Don't tell your big dreams to small minded people." (2) "The best way to seek revenge against dream killers is to be successful." When was the last time you did something for yourself? Then make this class something you do for you. Please go watch her videos to understand how passionate Mrs. Ortega is about teaching this class. On YouTube just put in "Medical Coding Academy to see her video. She breaks it down to you to the most simplest way to understand the medical codes. She knows how to break it down like a fraction. This is an intensive class but it is still a lot of fun too. Don't doubt yourself you can do this!!!!! You will get to meet people just like you who have never done medical coding so you won't be alone. You are worthy for this! You are worth it!!!! You will love Mrs. Ortega. She is a very caring teacher who want you to succeed. In closing their are a lot of programs out their for you to pick and choose. I tried going to other programs but the classes got cancelled. One of the classes I signed up for guaranteed me that they NEVER cancelled that they ALWAY turn people away. Well guess what?! they cancel the class because not enough people signed up for the class. Which led me to keep looking for classes and that is how I found out about Medical Coding Academy. You will not regret choosing Medical Coding Academy.

Miss Ortega and every single person on her staff for that matter are there to make sure NOBODY gets left behind.... read more YOU work hard no lie, hence my reference to the "Boot Camp" but they all work just as hard as you do & right along side of you. ALL questions are answered no matter how many times it takes to make sure we are all on the same wave length. Miss Ortega has a truly Blessed nature for teaching and and does a fabulous job! She is the most caring person I have ever taken a class from, she is not there for the dollar signs she is there for pleasure of helping you to succeed and improve your own self! I learned more in the 3 days I had with her than I did in any face to face course I had taken with Brick and Mortar charging me a through the teeth... I am awaiting my results for the exam I took now. Thank you, thank you, thank you.... will never truly show how much I appreciate what she and her team have done for me!! However; the fact that I will be back for another "Boot Camp" to get to the next Alphabet Credential, does say a lot... I could not and would not dare try it without the Medical Coding Academy Team!!!

Ms. Ortega is thorough in her method of teaching and if you follow her tips, the exam is a cakewalk. I immediately took the exam after my 3-day course and passed with flying colors. Ms. Ortega is Godsend. I would recommend MCA to anyone who is interested in coding.

I have tried classes with the AAPC and that didn't work. Then I did a class online with Penn Foster. It wasn't teaching me what I needed to know. As single mom I was desperate for change and even having experience in the medical field I wanted and need more. I came across a comment in facebook Group from the AAPC how this lady went to MCA. And she accomplished 3 credentials in 6 months. I was like no way. I read Mrs. Oretega reviews and watched her Youtube videos. All of them. I was like there is not one bad comment. I jump out in faith paid for class pack my bags and got to the next class. Which was Orlando Florida on 04/26/19. Mrs. Oretega is the most passionate teacher I have ever met in my entire life being 33 years old. She is straight to the point and she pushed me. She taught me discipline which is hard to do being a single mother and living everyday life. Words can't express how much I am grateful for the 3 day course. I couldn't have made a better sacrifice for my family and I. I know I will pass my CPC exam. This review is not even enough to express my experience. I pray you choose MCA and keep it moving to success. Thank you so much Mrs. Oretega and I pray God gives you what you gave me and more.

Where I've been for... read more the last 8 yrs, I've taken on the role of filing insurance as well. Finally I made a decision to pursue something more along those lines. A coworker had mentioned this program that his friend took and it was what I was looking for! Ms. Ortega knows what she is talking about. She is an excellent teacher and I wish I had a chance to meet her and thank her personally. Her tabbing system is a God send! Some of the videos are dated but they are working on making things more current. ☆ I scored an 82% on my CPC exam ☆ Thank you Ms. Ortega, Ms. Beverly & MCA ♡

I just want to say thank you so much Mrs. Ortega for being such an amazing teacher. Your passion, devotion, and kind spirits kept me uplifted and wanting to learn more. I decided to take the MCA online program due to me being a single mother of 3 and I did not want to travel due to covid. I had my 3rd baby girl February of this year and decided to enroll into Mrs. Ortega's MCA program shortly after that. I knew it wasn't going to be easy but something deep down told me I could do it. I was ready to start my new career in medical coding and make a better life for my children. I know it was nothing but God giving me that push that I needed. It was difficult getting into the motions of working, doing my school work / studying while being a mom to a newborn and 2 toddlers. It felt like it was going to be impossible to do my MCA assignments but I pushed those negative thoughts aside and decided to make a schedule. It took me a little longer to finish but on October 16th I finally took my CPC exam and within a few days I found out I passed. At first I was kind of disappointed in myself because I passed with a 73% but then I thought about everything I been through to get to this point and was just happy that I actually passed on the first try. If you are interested in the medical coding field please give Mrs. Ortega's MCA program a try. You will not regret it. Not only is it affordable, the knowledge you learn is life changing !
