She is an amazing teacher/instructor and all around good person. She was really sick and pushed through a 3 day class in Philadelphia PA with conviction and passion and with no excuses taught us waaaaaay beyond our monies and expectations. I've been through lots of instructors in my educational life and its rare to find the real deal teacher and she is it. I take my test in 2 weeks. I'll let you all know my results but I'm very confident, I will pass "the first time" with all the knowledge I've learned from Mrs. Ortega and the MCA. Blessings! Dee Butler.

Mrs. Ortega is a wealth of powerful and resourceful knowledge that only she can deliver! ... read more I am so very grateful to God, for my friends that led me to the website, and encouraged me to take this challenge on. Deciding to change my life for the better, is always scarey, those first few steps. Mrs. Ortega gave me the tools to believe in myself and trust her, to guide me into my new life. My entire weekend was a challenge from having to switch rooms in the middle of the night, then hitting class one with a total of about 3 hrs of sleep, the nagging thought of money spent, and my own self being my own worst enemy, doubting myself every step of the way. She belived in me, in each and every one of us. If you need to feel better, be better, a better you...take the course with her. I truly believe that I will pass this exam by following her strict and explicit instructions. Thank you Mrs. Ortega, I will be forever grateful. Bless and keep you. Sam

  • No Medical Experience I recently attended MCA’s 3-day Pre-Exam Medical Coding workshop with my husband (5/17-5/19) .... and let me tell you, Mrs. Ortega is like NO OTHER!! She... read more takes her love of teaching very seriously and puts her ALL into her students. She applies the pressure to ensure you’re prepared for the exam and a successful coding career. She’s very thorough giving you the tools you need to pass the exam, getting the job, interviewing, and your new coding career. During the prep exam workshop she is not the angel you see on youtube. She is this little petite Drill Sergeant who will put the fire under your feet!! The class is very intense, very fast paced, and can be overwhelming if you don’t do ALL of your pre-work. However when the 3 days are over its a big relief because you will be able maneuver through your books, follow instructions, find and understand the correct answers. Her curriculum and teaching strategy makes it fun & easy to find the codes, without needing to MEMORIZE thousands of terminology or anatomy terms. Mrs Ortega was heaven sent! If you’re looking for a teacher to teach you the basics of coding and how to pass the CPC medical coding exam with ZERO coding experience... Then Look no further Mrs. Ortega and her team are IT!! Me & the hubby are scheduled to take the AAPC exam May 25th... I’ll be back to let y’all know we passed!!!! - **** UPDATE WE PASSED**** Thank you again Mrs. Ortega and Staff! May god continue to bless and protect you from the naysayers. Your energy and heart is so pure. Continue to stay on your path blessing the world with your knowledge. She makes it so simple and gives you the confidence you need to pass the exam. She is truly a gem and I love that she loves God and shows it!   • Before I found out about Ms Ortega, I took the course with someone else and failed the test twice. I took Ms Ortega 3 day course Nov 10-12 2017. Took... read more the test for the third time in Dallas with Ms Ortega and I passed with 78%. I learned with Ms Ortega in 3 days than I did in 10 weeks. If anybody is looking to become coder I would truly recommend Ms Ortega.
